The look is very imperfect and primitive, but I do like that. It was bent during shipping and we haven't been able to make it completely straight, but it is functional and looks fine since it is a rustic piece. My daughter and I have eaten a full meal on it with side plates and serving plates and bowls and it will easily accommodate four for snacks/desserts. I was surprised by how light it was. It makes it very portable, which is another feature I like. I purchased the metal stand that was available at this seller. It fits fine, but at 19" is a bit high for this to be a coffee table and a bit low to be a dinner table, but we were fine with eating off of it in front of the tv. I looked around and this is at the top of the height range for Moroccan tables, which seem to run from 16" to 19". It is not the most stable table you will ever own, but this seems to be a characteristic of this sort of table. Over all, I like it.
