Handira, or Moroccan Wedding Blankets, as they are known outside of Morocco each have a unique story. These blankets (which we also sell as whole blankets) are woven by a girl’s female family members for their wedding day. Each is typically in a cream and beige color scheme accented with silver sequins, making them a beautiful, neutral and textured addition to any decor. We recycle these slightly damaged beauties by having pillow covers handmade from the good parts of the blanket. Each is one of a kind and sizes vary slightly, adding to the handmade and genuine feel they bring to your home.
Product Information
These cushions come unstuffed but are easy to stuff with used shopping bags, old clothes, cushion inserts or shredded foam. Each piece is made from the same Handira blanket but style may vary a little.
